Ecopress is a selfmade product. We have made it in the Netherlands from beechwood and the packaging from plywood, and both of these woods are local in the Netherlands. Because of it being selfmade we are able to manufacture it without extra emissions, and thereforeprotecting the environment due not having to manufacture the products elsewhere.
The product is made out of wood (beechwood and plywood), and wood is a durable material, sustainable material and also a food safe material, which made it the perfect choice for Ecopress.
The press has been impregnated with food-save oil, making it suitable for use with many different kinds of combinations.
The whole idea in Ecopress is to use wastefood to make treats for your pets making it ecologically friendly, and affordable for the user. You can always use your leftovers to make treats for pets, and therefore you will not have to buy your own pet treats. And if you want you can always do pet treats just for fun with your family or by yourself. Your kids will definitely enjoy making their own treats
We are especially focusing on the twelfth sustainable development goal, because our product is made out of wood it makes it more ecologically friendly than using metal or others materials like plastic.
At the end of the product's lifespan, the wood can easily be repurposed into something else, and at the very end, the wood can be used in other materials, such as MDF (Medium density fibreboard).
